Introduction to StorNext Connect Discovery

Before you can manage and monitor the components in your environment, you must make sure the environment is fully discovered. That is, the components must be able to communicate with the StorNext Connect system (Node 2 of a high-availability, dual-node Quantum appliance). The Discover Components application helps you identify the topology of the StorNext environment. The process for discovery depends on the component's operating system.
