Enable or Disable SNMP Services
Use the following command to enable or disable the Main SNMP service daemon. When the service is set, it will persist through a system restart.
Note: By enabling the main SNMP service daemon, the system automatically handles any required sequencing of your selected agent's necessary services.
Note: For a list of all the Appliance Controller commands, see the Command Index.

Note: If your system is running the StorNext 6.x platform, the snmp service enable command might stop the Dell Open Manage SNMP (dsm_sa_snmpd) service and you might need to restart the service using the systemctl command.
