Multi Protocol File Locking Support
Beginning with Appliance Controller 3.1.0, you can enable or disable multi protocol file locking. By default, this parameter is enabled, which allows you to share over NFS, SMB and SNFS and have the same locking structure.
Note: This feature affects your performance over SMB. If needed, you can disable this feature.

- Log in to the Appliance Controller CLI.
- At the prompt, enter the following:share multi protocol locking enable
Example:
> share multi protocol locking disable
Multi Protocol Locking is now enabled
- Log in to the Appliance Controller CLI.
- At the prompt, enter the following:share multi protocol locking disable
Example:
> share multi protocol locking disable
Multi Protocol Locking is now disabled
