Server Network Connections

The following applies to Xcellis Workflow Director (R630), Artico (R630), Xcellis Workflow Extender, aiWARE for Xcellis and Embedded (DAE) systems. See About the Xcellis Foundation System , or About the aiWARE for Xcellis Standard and High Performance Systems for the expansion cards supported for those systems.

Each server has different network connection options depending on the expansion cards installed. For dual-node (HA) systems, the cards should be installed identically in each server, to support proper fail-over operations.

Caution: Individual FC ports should not be configured on the FC switch for access to both disk and tape. FC ports should be zoned for use with either disk OR tape, not both.
