Manage a Hostgroup
Use the following tasks to manage a hostgroup on the FlexSync dashboard.
Item | Description |
---|---|
1 |
This button adds a new hostgroup (see Add a Hostgroup). The hostgroup is a container for the hosts that you assign as a source and as a target system. If you have multiple systems you want to replicate, you can configure multiple Hostgroups. To configure a replication task, you must first add a hostgroup. |
2 |
This button resumes a hostgroup (see Resume a Hostgroup). When you resume a hostgroup, then all replication tasks associated with the hostgroup (and its respective hosts) are resumed. |
3 |
This button suspends a hostgroup (see Suspend a Hostgroup). When you suspend a hostgroup, then all replication tasks associated with the hostgroup (and its respective hosts) are temporarily paused. |
4 |
This button edits the name (label) of a hostgroup (see Edit a Hostgroup). |
5 |
This button deletes a hostgroup (see Delete a Hostgroup). |
