NAS 1.4.1.3 and SNMP and NAGIOS |
Hi Team,
Just found out through an Apple issue that SNMP is now managed through the NAS shell.
So make sure SNMP is enabled in the NAS shell if customer wants to run and configure SNMP and have
Monitoring enabled say through NAGIOS:

Hi all,
Since snmp is now manage within the NAS CLI we need to enable it via the CLI.
Here are the commands I ran on my lab system.
M440:sus-m445a> snmp community add ro public
M440:sus-m445a> snmp service enable
You could be more restrictive on who can make snmp query by adding the IP address of the Nagios to the community add command.
M440:sus-m445a> snmp community add ro public 17.222.4.245
