This topic describes how to identify the customer's vmPRO software version using the following methods:

 

• vmPRO GUI
• Support Bundle

vmPRO GUI

1. From the vmPRO GUI, select Help > About. A popup window displays with the version number.

 

 

2. Locate the software version directly under the Quantum vmPRO logo. The software version in the example below is 3.1.

Support Bundle

1. Download the Support Bundle (also referred to as the Support Package). For instructions, refer to Step 2 in the Quantum vmPRO Status and Log Locations job aid.
2. After downloading the Support Bundle, go to pancetera-support.tar\tmp\version.txt.
3. The build number is identified on the pancetera-unite-3-xxxx.x86_64 line. In the example below, the build number is 5885.

 

4. Access the current release notes from the vmPRO Knowledge Base (https://mosaic.quantum.com).
5. Click Documentation.
6. In the Quick Links section, click Release Notes. The following page appears:

 

 

7. Click the Release Notes link. The build will be associated with the product software version, for example, Quantum vmPRO 3.1 (Build 5885-289).
