How to Determine the Current Lattus Software Version in the CMC, CLI and Collect Logs

This topic describes how to find the Lattus software version in the CMC, CLI and collect logs.

CMC

  1. Log into the CMC.
  2. Click the wrench icon drop-down list  in the top right corner and then select About.

The About window displays the Lattus software version. The example below shows a system with 3.4.3 software.

CLI

  1.  Enter the following command:

# /opt/qbase3/bin/dss -R

The following output displays. Below is an example of a system with 3.4.3 software:

version: 3.4.3, branch: 3.4, revision: 7d7377aed85c, compile_time: 06/05/2014 09:54:39 UTC

Collect Logs

The QUANTUM-1091 enhancement will add this functionality to the log collection feature in a future release.

In the mean time… you can sometimes find the version in this location: # grep revision ./dssmaintenanceagents/<node_name>/alllogs/<node_name>_alllogs_<timestamp>.log

Example: # grep revision /dssmaintenanceagents/Storage7/alllogs/Storage7_alllogs_525923204_2015-06-10.log
