This topic describes how to check the status of a power supply unit (PSU) in the different Lattus Storage Nodes models.

S10 Storage Node

1. Enter the following command via the CLI:

# ipmitool sdr type "Power Supply"

 

Output displays similar to the following example:

 

PSU1 AC Lost     | 94h | ok  |  0.0 | Power Supply AC lost
PSU1 PWR Detect  | 97h | ok  |  0.0 | Presence detected
PSU2 AC Lost     | 9Ch | ok  |  0.0 | Presence detected
PSU2 PWR Detect  | 9Fh | ok  |  0.0 | Presence detected

S20 Storage Node

1. Enter the following command via the CLI:

# ipmitool sdr type "Power Supply"

 

 

Output displays similar to the following example:

 

PSU1 AC Lost     | 94h | ok  |  0.0 | Power Supply AC lost
PSU1 PWR Detect  | 97h | ok  |  0.0 | Presence detected
PSU2 AC Lost     | 9Ch | ok  |  0.0 | Presence detected
PSU2 PWR Detect  | 9Fh | ok  |  0.0 | Presence detected

S20 Model 2 Storage Node

1. Enter the following command via the CLI:

# ipmitool raw 0x6 0x52 0x7 0x5a 0x1 0x92

 

Depending on the PSU status, one of the following displays:

 

• When the output is 03, PSU1 & PSU2 are OK
• When the output is 02, PSU1 is OK & PSU2 is FAILED
• When the output is 01, PSU1 is FAILED & PSU2 is OK

S30 Storage Node

1. Enter the following command via the CLI:

# ipmitool raw 0x6 0x52 0x7 0x5a 0x1 0x92

 

Depending on the PSU status, one of the following displays:

 

• When the output is 03, PSU1 & PSU2 are OK
• When the output is 02, PSU1 is OK & PSU2 is FAILED
• When the output is 01, PSU1 is FAILED & PSU2 is OK
