Locating the Brocade Switch Serial Number

When calling for support, use the pictures and information below to first determine the source of your Brocade switch, then locate the Service Tag on a Dell-sourced switch or the serial number on a Brocade-sourced switch. Identify your switch by the information on the pull-out label in the front lower corner of the unit.

 

Dell-Sourced Switches:

• Do NOT have any Dell badging.
• Are identified by a label that contains both a Dell Service Tag and a Brocade serial number.
• Use the 7-character Dell Service Tag for your support request.

 

Brocade-Sourced Switches:

• Are identified by a label that contains only a Brocade serial number.
• Use the 11-character Brocade serial number for your support request.

 

 

Brocade branded switches will just have the Brocade serial number like below picture

please send that serial number

 

From the logs it should be

marcom-sao-paulo-snfs-fc01.txt  Brocade 6505

Factory Serial Num:               CCD2510M04S

 

 

 

 

 

DELL branded Brocade switch will say SERVICE TAG like the below picture we need that

service tag number
