SR Information: SR1593040, SR1638690
Product / Software Version: All DXi platforms with 2.2.1 software.
Problem Description: A replication job was aborted, had failed or was unable to complete and the replication status on the GUI displayed "Failed".
|
There may be times where a replication job was starts and, for whatever reason, was aborted, failed or unable to complete and the status will remain that way and the home page will show replication as "Failed". The home page will show whatever the current status of any of the replication sets. This topic describes where the DXi GUI gets it’s replication status, what each value means, and how to change it, if necessary.
The Replication section on the Home page displays replication status. The example below shows a Failed status.
The following example shows a replication status of Partial.
If you navigate to the Replication > Send page in the GUI you can view the current status of replication jobs. The next section contains examples and screenshots of what you would see in the GUI and CLI
The following list displays each replication status value and its definition:
Examples of path to the status file:
/snfs/replication/source/srchost/shares/tbrtest/1
[root@RED-DXi0v221 1]# ll

Simply ‘vi’ the status file and change it to the value that you desire (See the Status Value List). If you want the GUI to read success, then change the status value to “2”. After making the change to the status file via CLI and then saving the file, refresh the GUI and the status will show up as "Success".
