DXi0 Virtual Sandboxes

Overview

These virtual sandboxes provide an open environment where you can practice tasks, test configurations, or just become familiar with DXi systems and backup applications. These virtual systems are fully functional for Ethernet presentations and allow you to configure OST and NAS, run backups, and configure and run replication. You can complete a specific configuration or follow the lab instructions in the DXi-Series (1.x or 2.x) Hands-On Practice Guide, which is available from CSWeb.

Note: These sandboxes are reset nightly at 2:00 AM MT, so don't expect your work to carry over to the next day. Also, you will not need to install any licenses on the virtual DXis. License enforcement has been disabled.

This Sandbox environment is provided as a training/support resource because we recognize that lab equipment is not always easy to come by. Although we will do our best to add to the sandbox and keep software current, most of this maintenance is done outside of our "normal" work so please be patient. We appreciate requests and suggestions as long as you understand that your request will most likely not be addressed immediately. Thanks!
