HOW TO GET BROCADE SWITCH LOGS  (DO NOT USE THE GUI TO GET BROCADE LOGS TO LOOK AT THEM YOU NEED BROCADES PROPRIETARY TOOL)

Have them send us the output from supportshow using method below

Bring up a putty session enable logging by selecting Printable output AND Always append to the end of it

Also select Window and under Lines of scrollback enter 99999

login as: admin

password:

:admin> supportshow

Here are the setting if you’re using putty to capture the shell output to a log on your desktop.  Notice we’re capturing ‘printable output’, we’ve given a path of where to put the log, and selected ‘always append at the end of it’.

Now log into the switch and type the supportshow command.
