BFST: The Blockpool

Overview

The Blocklets File Store (BFST) is the blockpool. Blockpool corruption could bring down the system, cause data loss, performance issues, failed backups and/or restores, and many other issues. Service/Support needs to understand how this all works, what processes make up the blockpool, and the location/name of log files and configuration files. You must also be able to recognize blockpool problems, and how to troubleshoot and fix these problems.
