Download the StorNext Software Installation Files for Customer Supplied Hardware

This section describes how to download the StorNext software installation files for customer supplied hardware.

1. Open a web browser and navigate to the Quantum mySoftware site (https://mysoftware.quantum.com/forms/SN7). The StorNext Software Download page appears.

   

2. Complete the form, and then click Submit. You will receive an email labeled Your Quantum StorNext 7 Download with additional instructions.

3. Open the Your Quantum StorNext 7 Download email.

   

4. In the email, click the here link. The StorNext software download page appears.

   

5. On the StorNext software download page, click Download for the version of StorNext software you want to download and install.

6. The download process begins for the StorNext software installation ISO file and the ISO file is saved to your default download directory. If you are prompted, save the ISO file to a local directory.

7. Follow the StorNext software installation procedures in the documentation center, located on the left navigation pane under All Tasks > Install.
