Configure Email

The Configure > Email tab allows you to specify the recipients to notify by email when administration alerts or service tickets occur. You can specify email recipients, notification levels, and information about your email configuration. You can also configure the Q-Cloud Protect appliance to generate and send configuration and status reports.


If you do not set up email alerts, the cloud appliance will not be able to communicate with an email server. In addition, your email server needs to be accessible to the virtual private cloud (VPC) in which your cloud appliance resides. For more information, see VPC-Private Network Connections.
