The SofwareRAID resource represents the configuration of the software RAID. The SofwareRAID interface provides services for reading the software RAID status and manipulating external disks.

addDisk

PUT /rest/SoftwareRaid/addDisk/{slot}

Adds a disk, that is not part of a RAID and has been formatted, to the RAID set.

clearDisk

PUT /rest/SoftwareRaid/clearDisk/{slot}

Clears and formats a disk, that is not part of a RAID set, with 512-byte sectors and a single NVMe namespace for the entire disk. This command is only for Service personnel.

formatDisk

PUT /rest/SoftwareRaid/formatDisk/{slot}

Formats a disk, that is not part of a RAID set, with 4K sectors and the necessary NVMe namespaces for DXiT. This command is only for Service personnel.

removeDisk

PUT /rest/SoftwareRaid/removeDisk/{slot}

Removes a potentially bad disk from the software RAID. The user must physically replace the disk after executing the remove command for the failed disk.

Displays the status for all(internal and external) disks.
