SDDs

The DXi6900-S Node supports thirteen high capacity solid state drives (SDDs) (see Figure 1). The Node hard drives are used for the operating system, system software, and indexes needed for data deduplication, replication, and space reclamation.

All solid state disk drives are mounted and pre-assembled in drive carriers (see Figure 1). All drives are hot swappable.
