DXi4800 Expansion Module Power Supply Indicators

Each DXi4800 Expansion module power supply has LED indicators to show whether power is present or whether a power fault has occurred:

Caution: All power supplies are hot swappable. When replacing power supplies, never remove more than one power supply at a time from the system. Also, before you remove one power supply, make sure the other power supply is operating correctly (power indicator is green).

DC power

Indicates DC power supply status.

Green - Normal operation. Power supply is connected to DC power and the power switch is on. The power supply module is supplying DC power to the array.

Off - Indicates any one of the following:

  • The power switch is off.
  • The power supply module is not connected to power.
  • There is a fault condition.

Power supply mode fault

Indicates power supply health.

Yellow - Indicates a fault detected.

Off - Power supply is OK.

AC power

Indicates AC power supply status.

On - Power supply module is connected to a source of AC power irrespective of whether or not a power switch is on.

Off - Power supply module is completely disconnected from any source of AC power.
