Allocated Disk Space – Delta in Bytes/H or Bytes/S

The Allocated Disk Space – delta in Bytes/h and Allocated Disk Space – delta in Bytes/s graphs display changes for allocated disk space or metadata disk values in bytes per hour or bytes per second. Use these graphs to see increases and decreases in the amount disk capacity used to store data. Review the following variables of these graphs.

The following types of data can be stored on allocated or metadata disk space:

  • Deduplicated data
  • Non-deduplicated data
  • System metadata

Note: This variable does not include disk space that is available for reuse, which includes expired or deleted data.

Amounts are displayed as follows:

  • Values above the zero line indicate an increase in stored data.
  • Values below the zero line indicate a decrease in stored data.
