FRU Replacements

This section provides links to the replacement procedures for supported H2000 FRUs (field-replaceable units), which are replaced by Quantum Service or Quantum service partners. The following components are considered FRU items:

1. SuperCap/BBU (Battery Backup Unit)
2. M.2 boot drives

3. Controllers - a full replacement controller is required for the following component failures:
• Fans (8x)
• NVD drives
• Three-in-one cards
• DRAM Memory DIMMs

• RAID Power Supply Unit

• I/O Expansion Card Riser (1x)

• Midplane
• Motherboard
• Motherboard subcomponents:
  • CPU
  • SAS expansion ports
  • 1GB NIC IPMI/BMC port (1x)
  • 10 GbE NIC ports (2x)
  • Video port (1x)
  • USB ports (4x)
  • Boot drive SSD slots (2x)
