Replace Expander Modules
The 4U90 Twin Server contains four expander modules, which are labeled B, C, D, and F.
Before You Begin
The X200 system and its SAS Expanders can revert to a previously installed (or recovery region) firmware version when the downgrade or upgrade of the firmware is not performed correctly.
Review the Simplified SAS Expander Firmware Downgrade or Upgrade instructions.
Removing an Expander Module from the Chassis

Each expander module has two latches on its top side, which lock the expander into place and must be opened to remove the expander from the chassis. Pull both latches up into the open position, as shown below.

Lift the unlocked expander module out of the chassis.
