NDX-8 Series NAS: Locating the Product Serial Number

This article describes where you can find the serial number on the NDX-8 Series NAS products. You will need the system serial number to create a Service Request.

The NDX-8 serial number is printed on a sticker located on the system’s chassis. It starts with the letters CX, such as CX1234567890AB. See below for the serial number locations on the different models.

·         On the NDX-8 NAS tower, the serial number is located on the rear panel, above the system fan vent.

·         On the NDX-8 NAS 1U rack, the serial number is located on the top of the unit, near the front right corner.
