Expansion Cards – Logical Port Numbers and Slots
The following applies to Xcellis Workflow Director (R630), Artico (R630), Xcellis Workflow Extender, aiWARE for Xcellis and Embedded (DAE) systems.
The following logical port numbers are applicable to the Expansion Cards:
Caution: Individual FC ports should not be configured on the FC switch for access to both disk and tape. FC ports should be zoned for use with either disk OR tape, not both.


The following applies to all systems supported by this Documentation Center, which include Xcellis Workflow Director (R630), Artico (R630), Xcellis Workflow Extender (R630), Xcellis Foundation, and all aiWARE for Xcellis systems.

Note: em4 is bonded by default into Bond 0 (metadata) along with em3 during installation, but the bond may be broken and em4 used for something other than the metadata bond after installation if desired.
Note: There is no GUI on Xcellis Workflow Extender (R630) systems, so em2 does not provide GUI access for that product.
