1Supplied Fibre Channel SFP+ transceivers should be used with their specific HBA card. By default, Quantum supports Short Wave (SW) Multimode FC connections/cables, and does not support Long Wave (LW) Single mode FC connections/cables. Fiber channel ports for QXS storage and Quantum appliances all ship with SR SFPs. They can support LR ONLY if LR SFPs are installed in place of the shipped SFPs, and single mode fiber is used. |
