System Software – the Dynamic Application Environment
The Dynamic Application Environment (DAE) allows you to add Virtual Machines to your system and run applications within those VMs that can interact with your StorNext environment or be completely independent from the StorNext operations running on your system.
To learn more about DAE, see:
- The DAE Configuration Instructions available on quantum.com – which provide DAE prerequisites, DAE-specific hardware installation instructions, and step-by step instructions for installing the DAE license, and configuring DAE for new Virtual Machines (VMs) and importing existing VMs (from a VMWare OVA [open virtual appliance] virtual machine image) using functions in the StorNext GUI.
