IPMI Overview

The IPMI is a set of computer interface specifications for an autonomous computer subsystem that provides management and monitoring capabilities independently of the host system's CPU, firmware, and operating system

During CRU replacement, the IPMI can be used for the following:

• Remotely power off of the R3000
• Remotely power on of the R3000

Defaults for the IPMI:

Note: The customer will change the defaults. So, the updated defaults will need to be acquired to access the IPMI with your laptop/computer.
