There are two ways to find the DXI8500 serial number.
Locating the Serial Number Using the GUI
The serial number is located on the GUI home page, as shown by the red box below:

The system serial number label is located inside of the back rack doors, as shown below:
The DXi4500 system serial number is the same as the Dell service tag. You will need the system serial number to open a service call.
You can locate the system serial number from the remote Web pages. Navigate to the Home page and look in the System Details section.
