If Online Service Requests (OSRs) will not accept a serial number, you can open the SR by phone, or check for common problems that occur with online OSRs.

Scalar 100 Library: How can I find the Product Serial Number?

There are three distinct ways to find the product serial number for a Scalar 100 library:

Physical Location

You can find the product serial number by looking on either the lower left corner of the back of the library or on the floor inside the front door. The product serial number appears in one of the following four formats: 8D0000123, 8L0000123, 9K0000123, or 9U0000123 (for example, 9U1234A02).
