Scalar i6 Messages
Overview
The Messages menu is only available for libraries with an SLTFS iBlade. The Messages menu allows you to view system generated messages that are information only about potential issues. For example, you may receive a message informing you that you are running low on scratch media, thus you need to format more tapes for the scratch pool.
- M101 - Vaulted file not available for read
- M102 - Vaulted file not available for write
- M103 - Volume group low capacity threshold reached
- M104 - Scratch pool low capacity threshold reached
- M105 - No drives available
- M106 - Write failed due to no space remaining
- M108 - File/Directory collision
- M109 - Invalid volume media type
- M110 - File spanning failed
Layout
Displays a list of all new messages. To include or to view closed messages, filter by State.
Displays all the details of the message selected in the North Panel.

Actions
The Close feature allows you to close any system generated SLTFS iBlade messages. Closed messages are automatically deleted from the system after 90 days.
- From the Navigation panel, select Messages.
- In the North Panel, select the check box next to the message(s) you want to close.
- In the Operations panel, click Close.
