Quantum provides two different type of downloads to support Scalar
Online Help
The documentation center is used as online help for Scalar
Download Instructions
- Click the link to the version of help you want to use and save it to a local directory.
- From the WebGUI (System > Help Upload), click the Use Local Help checkbox.
- Click Browse and navigate to where you saved the downloaded zip file.
- Click Apply. The help bundle is unpacked and loaded to a directory on your library's SCB.

If you do not have Internet access and wish to view the Scalar
We recommend using the online version of the Scalar
Download Instructions
- Download the .zip file and extract the contents to a local directory.
- From the directory, double-click the Default.htm file to open the offline version of the Scalar
- Use the offline version as you would use the online version of the Scalar
Note: Because this version of the Documentation Center is not hosted online, any links to outside websites do not work.
