This course takes approximately one to three hours to complete and provides an introduction to Quantum StorNext and the fundamental concepts behind it. You will also be guided through several customer deployment scenarios to learn how StorNext, along with other Quantum scale-out storage products, can improve business workflows. It is intended as a prerequisite to all subsequent StorNext training.

This course is three days long and provides training on the StorNext File System only. If you required training for both StorNext File System and StorNext Storage Manager, register for the StorNext File System and Storage Manager Administration (Instructor-Led Training) course instead of this course.
You can register for the physical classroom training that will be taught at a Quantum Training Facility or remotely via a virtual classroom session. Both are instructor-led.
This course provides students hands-on practice performing key configuration, administration, and support tasks in the StorNext graphical user interface (GUI) and command line interface (CLI) while being guided by an instructor. The tasks include: configuring StorNext; using tools and commands; installing and configuring clients; identifying allocation behaviors; detecting and resolving fragmentation issues; using buffering to enhance performance; interpreting performance trace logging; configuring Quality of Service (QoS); managing a high availability (HA) environment; and performing diagnostics.
This course is four days long and provides training on both the StorNext File System and StorNext Storage Manager.
You can register for the physical classroom training that will be taught at a Quantum Training Facility or remotely via a virtual classroom session. Both are instructor-led.

This course is one day long and provides additional StorNext performance tuning training, assuming you have completed the StorNext File System and Storage Manager Administration (Instructor-Led Training) course.
This course is available only as a virtual classroom course and provides hands-on practice with key allocation and performance tuning tasks while being guided by an instructor.
The tasks include identifying file allocation behaviors; detecting and resolving fragmentation issues; using buffering to enhance performance; interpreting performance trace logging; and configuring Quality of Service (QoS).
Suggested Prerequisites: The Basics of StorNext Concepts and Architecture (Online Self-Paced). It is also recommended you have experience with the Linux operating system, storage area networks (SANs), and disk systems.
