Rebooting and Shutting Down the Cloud Appliance
The Reboot & Shutdown tab allows you to reboot or shut down the Q-Cloud Protect appliance.
Caution: Before shutting down the Q-Cloud Protect appliance, make sure that all replication jobs (as source and target) are finished, and that space reclamation activity is complete.
Shutting down and rebooting the cloud appliance can take up to 15 minutes.
- From the Utilities menu, select Reboot & Shutdown to display the System Management page.
- Under System Action, select the appropriate option:
Reboots the cloud appliance.
Rebooting the system closes the Web browser connection. You must log on again after the system has rebooted.
Shuts down the cloud appliance.
Reset from diagnostic state
(Only available when the node is in degraded mode)
Restarts the services on the node without rebooting the system.
- Click Apply.
- Close the browser window.
