StorNext Connect is a collection of independent applications, with some dependencies between them as necessary. The applications are released in compatible bundles. All StorNext Connect applications have incrementing integer version numbers (for example, 1, 2, 3). Quantum recommends using the latest versions of StorNext Connect applications for the latest features and functions.See the Planning and Compatibility section of the StorNext Connect Doc Center for the requirements for enabling and operating StorNext Connect.Update All Applications or Install an Application through the App Store.See the StorNext Connect Documentation Center (https://www.quantum.com/sncdocs) for information about installing and updating applications through the App Store.

If you do not have Internet access and want to view the StorNext Connect Documentation Center, you can download a local copy to store on your device. Additionally, if you need an earlier version of the documentation, you can download an earlier local-copy version.

We recommend using the online version of the StorNext Connect Documentation Center whenever possible. The online version is updated regularly to provide the latest information. The online version also provides the most comprehensive learning experience; for example, some video content is available online only.

  1. Download the .zip file and extract the contents to a local directory.
  2. From the directory, double-click the Default.htm file to open the local copy of the StorNext Connect Documentation Center.
  3. Use the local copy as you would use the online version of the StorNext Connect Documentation Center.

    Note: Links to external websites will work only if your device has an Internet connection when using the local copy.
