New Features for Release 1.4.1.x
The Appliance Controller 1.4.1.x release includes the following new features.
With the Appliance Controller 184.108.40.206 release, you can now resync all nodes within a NAS cluster, which may be necessary if Quantum Service configures a new registry setting for the cluster.
With the Appliance Controller 220.127.116.11 release, you can now reset the configuration and registry settings of the following NAS components:
The Appliance Controller provides Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) services, which you can use to effectively monitor your Data Center. These SNMP services support existing network management tools , such as HP OpenView, Nagios, Icinga, or SolarWinds.
You must be running StorNext 6.0 software or a later version to use the SNMP feature.
The Appliance Controller's iSCSI feature provides iSCSI network connectivity between an Xcellis Workflow Director or Artico (initiator) and QXS Storage Arrays (targets).
You must be running Appliance Controller 18.104.22.168 or later and StorNext Platform 22.214.171.124 or later to use the iSCSI feature.
